Nutritious Food

The Mata Reeta Devi Foundation rescues elderly citizens and provides them with residence at their well-managed old age homes. In Uttar Pradesh, the foundation operates three fully equipped and functional homes that cater to the daily needs of the elderly. These homes not only offer all necessary amenities but also have round-the-clock personnel to assist the residents. The elderly are provided with nutritious meals three times a day, which are carefully prepared by the cooking staff while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. If required, the residents are also given supplements to ensure better nutrition. The care giving staff at the old age homes ensures that the meals are served to the elderly.

Healthcare

Our old age home in Uttar Pradesh is fully equipped to provide critical and intensive medical care to all residents in need. We have a dedicated team of medical professionals available 24/7 to ensure the well-being of the elderly. The Special Care Unit within the home not only offers intensive and urgent medical care but also provides a peaceful living environment where the elderly can feel secure knowing they are well taken care of. The unit has a number of beds with updated medical equipment and experienced staff who are trained to handle the specific needs of the elderly, including those with long-term and neglected injuries or issues that require special attention.

24x7 Rescues

Our Foundation ensures a 24/7 rescue service for elderly individuals in need, as we understand emergencies can occur at any time. By providing constant support and accessibility, we promptly respond to calls from various sources, including authorities, concerned citizens, or directly from the elderly themselves, ensuring their well-being and safety are prioritized. This service, in conjunction with the dedicated staff at old age homes, ensures prompt and efficient rescue operations. The staff not only facilitates a seamless transition for new residents but also collaborates with external authorities, such as the police, to make the process smooth and well-coordinated. This collaborative approach ultimately benefits the elderly citizens who depend on the care and support provided by these facilities.

Wheelchair for Elderly

Our facility prioritizes the comfort and mobility of senior citizens above 60 years old, understanding their reduced agility and strength. We ensure easy wheelchair access to all areas and employ caring staff to assist them in moving around and addressing their needs, creating a supportive environment for our elderly residents. Our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for senior residents in our old age homes is reflected through the provision of essential services and amenities. By ensuring easy access to all areas within the complex, we promote comfort and convenience, ultimately contributing to a more enjoyable living experience for our beloved elderly community members.

Physiotherapy Center

The foundation provides housing for elderly individuals rescued by them in old age homes managed by the organization. In Uttar Pradesh, there are three fully equipped and functional old age homes run by the foundation teams. These homes offer all necessary amenities for the daily lives of the elderly residents. As individuals age, they undergo various physical changes such as decreased muscle strength, lower bone density, and stiff joints. Regular physiotherapy sessions can help alleviate some of these issues.

In-house pharmacy

During the first examination and assessments, physicians establish a medical record and develop a care plan for the elderly individual who has been rescued. The on-site pharmacy maintains a supply of all necessary medications for the residents, including those needed for other health issues or emergencies that may arise at the senior living facility. Our top priority is providing exceptional care to the elderly residents we rescue or rehabilitate. We ensure they receive the best possible care for the duration of their stay with us. Additionally, having a pharmacy within the residence enhances healthcare accessibility for the elderly in the long term. It also enables us to promptly address minor injuries, cuts, or infections, providing immediate service.

Care for Dementia

Dementia is a progressive disorder that results in cognitive decline beyond what is typical for aging, impacting memory, thinking, orientation, comprehension, calculation, learning, language, and judgment, while consciousness remains intact. Dementia is a prevalent issue among the elderly in our country, leading to the establishment of specialized care in old age homes for residents requiring round-the-clock attention. The caregivers ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all residents, enabling those with dementia to reside peacefully without any hindrance.

Palliative/Geriatric Care

Upon arrival at Foundation, the condition, ailments, medical needs, and mental abilities of the rescued individual do not impede our ability to care for them. Our well-equipped residence offers primary healthcare services, including staff, a lab, a pharmacy, and an x-ray center, enabling us to provide top-notch healthcare and hospice care under one roof.

Rehabilitation to Home

The Foundation is dedicated to providing personalized care for the elderly based on their specific needs. In some cases, rescued individuals may have lost their way and are unable to return home. When we are able to locate their families or when their families reach out to us, we focus on rehabilitating them. Throughout this process, we ensure that the elderly individuals receive not only basic care and nourishment, but also any necessary medical assistance.
